Q BRICK 02
by Mirai Mizue

Shape shifting blocks come alive in Mirai Mizue’s latest animation series, Q BRICK. Hand drawn on architectural graph paper, and inspired by the everyday sights and sounds in urban construction sites, the dynamic, abstract blocks playfully morph in a three dimensional plane. This new motif is a departure from Mizue’s previous works depicting a universe of cellular organisms, which featured in TATAMP EXTENSION, the first interactive artwork to be published to the FRAMED Gallery.
