Autotroph
by Raven Kwok

Created by Raven Kwok (aka 郭 锐文) using Processing, Autotroph is a self-organized cellular structure based on the principles of a k-d tree. Its prototype was first implemented by Kwok in late 2016, and was later developed into multiple experiments, including this one specifically built for FRAMED*.

Autotroph multiplies by day and diminishes by night. Albeit this mechanism being autonomous, the presence and motion of audience can temporarily boost its "metabolism" rate.
