horizons - 5770
by Stéphane Pogran

It is a landscape animated simulation, between sky and what could be earth (or sea), asking about nature movements.
There is no use of AI or no use of big data here. These are just colored superimposed rings in a 3D space, moving around each others, and following a very simple flow process. I believe we do need magic emotions with such living things ahead.
This video is also a call for more diversity as we feel not that much life except "clouds".
Horizons - 5770 is a video looping every 3 minutes and can be declined in several different versions.

Profile
Stéphane Pogran is fascinated by nature diversity and very simple processes. After many years in cartoons production (as manufacturing manager then studio manager), he decided to come back to its passion paused at the end of his arts studies : depict things with some games, rules or algorithms. He feels involved by the multiple combinations and interactions that can be found, especially with help of numerical materials. Grabing life in its changing and multiple dimensions became for him a valid and necessary searching. He uses equaly 2D or 3D, creating works that are moving, or not.
